These transformers are designed for indoor or outdoor use – oil immersed with standard temperature rise of 65 degree Celsius. Either a flange or throat can be provided on the high and low voltage side for connection to primary and secondary equipment. High and low voltage bushings can be located on opposite sides of the unit to a straight-thru Line-up.

Bushing height is standardized at 55 inches to permit ease of coordination with other equipment and later uprating at minimum costs. High voltage bushings can also be installed on top of the unit. Cooling is accomplished through flat or tubular coler assemblies welded to the wall.

A bolted on tank cover/handhole provides sealed tank oil preservation. Standard tank pressure is 5psi for oil filled Lifting hooks are provided for lifting the entire unit and lifting loops for lifting the tank cover. The base is designed for skidding in any direction parallel to the center line of the axis.
